Recipient of Bowman’s LawWithoutWalls Wits School of Law Scholarship
Terique is a third-year Bachelor of Laws student at the University of the Witwatersrand, with a keen interest in constitutionalism. Raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, he speaks English and Mandarin. In law school, Terique actively participates in domestic and international moot court competitions and is the Training and Development Officer at Wits Moot Court Society. His legal adventures inspired him to write a 138-page model constitution, based on liberal democracies across the globe. Terique hopes to join the bar and play a part in South Africa’s constitutional project one day. | Linkedin
Recipient of the James Peters First Generation Initiative Scholarship
Alex Villalobos hails from Chicago, IL where he is the son of first generation immigrants to the U.S.. Alex is also a trailblazer, being the first in his family to obtain an undergraduate degree and enrolling in law school. He is currently in his second year at the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law with an interest in tax law. Outside of law school, he has a keen interest in exploring business financial markets, trading options, and cryptocurrency. He plans one day to further build out his business and financial acumen and use it to complement a future career in tax. In 2024, Alex will work with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, and is slotted to join an international tax firm in Chicago. | Linkedin
Recipient of the Faegre Drinker Harvard Law School Grant for Sprint 2024
Jessie is a business-of-coffee entrepreneur turned law student who is completing a LLM from Harvard Law School exploring the intersection of law, technology, business and human rights. A native of Taiwan, she spent most of her life in New York, where she created the first coffee brand centered around Asian Specialty Coffee. During COVID, she transitioned to a career in law. She received her JD from the University of Hong Kong, after which she worked at an NGO employing technology to support safer migration for domestic workers. Jessie currently lives in Somerville, MA and is an avid explorer of Boston with her three dogs. | LinkedIn
Recipient of the Faegre Drinker Harvard Law School Grant for Sprint 2024
Erin Youngblood is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. She received her undergraduate degree in Social Studies Education with an emphasis in Human Geography from The University of Georgia. She has a certificate in African Studies and is fluent in Swahili. Erin writes for the Harvard Journal on Sports and Entertainment Law, is a member of the Committee on Sports and Entertainment Law, and serves the Arizona Coyotes and the 33rd Team through the Sports Law Clinic. She was a 1L Diversity Fellow for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius’ Boston office and returned to the firm as a 2L Summer Associate. Before law school, Erin worked as a mortician, taught at a prison, and was a paralegal for a criminal defense firm. | LinkedIn

Recipient of the BARBRI LawWithoutWalls Sprint 2024 Scholarship
Reccy works at Burley Law in Birmingham, UK where she is currently training to qualify as a solicitor specialising in Intellectual Property, Tech, and Commercial Law. In addition to client work, she leads various pro bono initiatives aimed at improving access to justice and diversity within the legal sector which led to her being awarded Birmingham Black Lawyer’s Junior Legal Professional of Year 2022 Award. She has a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia, a First Class LLB for Graduates Degree from University of Birmingham and is currently studying for her SQE exams with BARBRI. | LinkedIn
