WHAT IT IS:
All-virtual project incubation. Following participation in Sprint-X, the Student Hackers, volunteer mentors/project managers (and any Lead Hackers who so choose) will continue to refine, distill and incubate their team’s Projects of Worth developed during LWOW Sprint-X. The focus over these three months is on developing a full business plan, challenging assumptions, and prototyping.
How it works:
A) Webinars: Teams attend webinars weekly on Wednesdays to contextualize innovation in law by covering the broad topics that will frame the narrower challenges assigned to teams in the LWOW Sprint and that provide substantive training for development of their projects. Armed with a deeper understanding of the legal marketplace around the world and how innovation and technology is impacting the careers and work of legal professionals, all participants will be better able to contribute to their future jobs.
B) Virtual Teaming to Prototype and Refine a Project of Worth: Each student team distills and incubates an innovative solution to a real challenge related to social justice/entrepreneurship that is assigned to the team. This part of the course is for accepted students, alumni who are selected to serve as LWOW Project Managers and Mentors and is optional for Lead Hackers. Teams attend weekly team meetings as well as guidance meetings with LWOW leadership to help guide their incubation process.
C) Virtual ConPosium (14 April 2021) Dynamic Virtual Presentations: Teams will present the refined solutions (15 minutes) to a panel of judges. Judges will ask questions and provide constructive feedback on at least three factors: substance, creativity, and viability. Three finalists will be chosen to present during PopPosium. Attendance by sponsor participants is optional.
D) LWOW PopPosium (21 April 2020)In-person Community Celebration of the Three Finalists: Followed by the ConPosium the week prior, the three finalist teams will present for the final title of ‘Best Overall’ Project of Worth. Whilst presentations will be all-virtual we are hoping to host multiple community building celebratory in-person viewing parties to watch the Top 3 LWOW Sprint-X INC. finalists in a social setting where our community members can come together and network. Locations TBD.
WHO PARTICIPATES:
A) Webinars featuring thought leaders from around the world to explore innovation in law (22:00-23:30 UTC Wednesdays).
Who attends: Professionals from participating sponsors and from our entire LWOW community are invited to attend the weekly Live Webinar portion of LWOW Sprint-X Inc. Students from law and business schools around the world attend the Webinars as part of the course.
B) Virtual Teaming to Create Projects of Worth

For students, LWOW Sprint-X and Sprint-X INC. participation is equivalent to a 4 credit course in the U.S.; for non-students, we will seek (but cannot promise) to provide continuing legal education and/or probono credits.
Sprint-X Inc. 2021 ConPosium SCHEDULE:
The LWOW Sprint-X INC. ConPosium is on 14 April, 2021. 16 Teams will present Projects of Worth to an esteemed panel of judges and to the LWOW Community. 4 Teams will be chosen as winners in the following categories: Best Overall, Best Business Case, Best Branding and Best Commercial.
The Sprint-X INC. ConPosium will run 13:30 UTC- 18:30 UTC (9:30- 2:30PM ET) on 14 April.
