At LWOW Sprint 2027, you’ll work across generations, disciplines, and cultures to tackle real challenges transforming law and business. Alongside students, legal and business professionals, and innovators, you’ll build the skills that matter in an AI age: creative problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, innovation, and cultural competency.

You won’t be watching professionals work. You’ll be working with them.

The LWOW Sprint 2027: 5-7 March 2027 | Glasgow, Scotland

LWOW Sprint is an intensive, three-day experiential learning program focused on innovation, collaboration, and transformation. Students work alongside experienced professionals to solve real problems while developing practical skills in teaming, problem-solving, leadership, and innovation.

HOW SPRINT WORKS

Teaming: You’ll join a cross-generational, multidisciplinary team of students and professionals from around the world. Each team is sponsored by a corporate legal department, law firm, or legal technology company and tackles a real challenge brought by that organization. Students are integral members of the team—not observers.

The 3-4-5 Method of Innovation™: Over three days, your team will use LWOW Founder Michele DeStefano’s 3-4-5 Method to identify the real problem, understand the target audience, develop and test ideas, build a prototype and business case, and prepare a final pitch (read more about LWOW’s leadership here).

The ConPosium: Sprint culminates with each team pitching its solution Ignite-style—5 minutes, 20 self-advancing slides—to a panel of judges who provide questions and feedback.

Projects of Worth: Every team creates a Project of Worth, but the real “worth” goes beyond the final solution. It’s the growth that happens along the way—in your skills, mindset, confidence, collaboration, and relationships.

Mandatory Pre-Sprint Training | 13 Jan–24 Feb 2027

Sprint begins before Glasgow. All students complete 7 weeks of virtual Pre-Sprint Training designed to prepare them to contribute from day one.

Sessions are held Wednesdays on Zoom at 20:30-22:15 UTC / 3:30-5:15 p.m. EST and run for 1 hour 45 minutes. Training covers the LWOW methodology, collaboration, teaming, problem-solving, leadership, and your role at Sprint.

Attendance is mandatory. Please check your school schedule before applying.

Post-Sprint Reflection

Following Sprint, students complete a Post-Sprint Creative Reflection capturing their experience, project development, learning, and professional growth.

Your school may have an earlier deadline or separate selection process, so check with your institution. Regardless of your school’s process, all students must submit an application through the LWOW portal.

PROGRAM Fees + Course Credit

Program fees vary by school and cover participation in LWOW Sprint 2027; travel and lodging are not included. LWOW will identify reduced-rate student hotels and facilitate shared rooms for two students, with single rooms available upon request.

Some participating schools offer academic credit for LWOW. Credit arrangements for 2027 will be confirmed in Fall 2026.
