LWOW was born at Miami Law out of the conviction that legal practice and legal education both faced major change, and that the issues were global and interdependent. The goal was two-fold: 1) to build a multi-disciplinary community of students and professionals to accelerate innovation in legal education and practice at the same time; and 2) to sharpen the skills needed by 21st century professional advisors that are not “teachable” in a traditional training format. Miami Law provides financial, administrative, and substantive support, without which LWOW would not exist today.
