2020 LWOW Live Virtual Work Trainings

One of the initial learnings from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been the increasing demand to collaborate more effectively through virtual platforms. On a positive note, given that LawWithoutWalls was the first part-virtual, blended education program in law, LWOW will host a live, virtual-work training session (the same training will be offered across different dates and times - see below!) to teach anyone in the community (or friends of the community) best practices for virtual interaction of all kinds (education, work, meetings, conferences, etc.).

Although this training is designed with legal professionals and educators in mind, it is for any type of professional or educator. Given that the hardest part about going virtual is not the tech or the tools but instead culture and mindset, this training focuses on individual and collective accountability and norm creation for virtual work and provide recommendations on best practices for both synchronous and asynchronous connection to enhance engagement and ensure the right level/appropriate amount of engagement for individuals and teams working virtually.

This training will be offered at the following Dates and Times: http://tinyurl.com/lwowliveroom

  • Wednesday, 18 March + 25 March + 1 April

    • 8:00 am - 8:45 am (EDT)/ 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm (UTC);
