LWOW PopUps & Conversations
WHAT IT IS:
LWOW PopUps and Conversations bring together people across law, business, and technology to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of legal services. Hosted in cities around the world, these interactive events connect newcomers and longtime LWOW community members, encourage fresh perspectives, and build relationships across disciplines and organizations.
LWOW PopUps are typically two-hour events featuring hands-on exercises in collaboration, creative problem finding and solving, and innovation, often followed by a cocktail reception.
LWOW Conversations are smaller, discussion-driven gatherings that bring a diverse group of leaders around one table to explore a timely question facing the legal ecosystem. Guided by Conversation Captains, these informal roundtables encourage candid discussion, shared learning, and new connections—without panels or presentations.
WHO HOSTS AND WHY:
LWOW PopUps & Conversations are hosted by law firms, in-house legal teams, legal tech companies, and other organizations committed to innovation.
Hosting offers an opportunity to bring clients, colleagues, and industry leaders together, exchange ideas, build relationships, and introduce new people to the LWOW community.
HOW IT WORKS:
LWOW PopUps | Learn by Doing
Interactive, hands-on events where 50–75 participants explore creative problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation through exercises led by experienced LWOW facilitators. Typically two hours, including cocktails and networking.
LWOW Conversations | Learn Through Conversation
Smaller, invitation-only roundtables bringing 15–20 leaders from law, business, academia, and technology together to discuss timely questions shaping the legal ecosystem. Guided by LWOW Conversation Captains, these gatherings encourage candid discussion and fresh perspectives—without panels or presentations.
Both formats connect newcomers and LWOW alumni while strengthening the human skills and relationships needed to lead change.
Costs:
Events are free for invited guests. Hosts provide the venue and refreshments, while LWOW collaborates on programming, invitations, and guest selection. Events can take place in office lounges, conference rooms, or other suitable spaces.
